Maree G. Farring Elementary-Middle School is a site of one of United Way's On Track 4 Success programs, which works to improve graduation rates in Central Maryland. The goal is to keep students on track to graduate from high school – putting them on track for a better, more self-sufficient future. In the region's most challenged neighborhoods, as many as 10 out of every 25 students won't graduate.
As a volunteer, you'll be able to show a student that she can have any career she dreams. You will interact with students by sharing your career with students and describing what you do on a typical day.
