Volunteer: January 19 - Baltimore City - Food 4 Thought Community Outreach Services, Inc. - Chili and book giveawayF4TCOS has been conducting an annual MLK Day of Service for the last three years in the Brooklyn Park Community. This is a community considered a food desert, and therefore, F4TCOS attempts to provide full service support to the community. Currently, we are looking at doing "Chilly and Books." We will be serving hot chili and providing books to youth. In addition, we will provide coats and shoes (Operation Warm), and most likely produce, and household items. Currently, we are slated to serve outside on the schools lower parking lot. However, depending on the weather, we will have access to set everything up inside of the school. If we are outside, then dress warm for the weather. Parking is located in the upper parking lot, lower parking lot, and on the street. We will be still accepting donations of coats (kids and adults) -New and gently used, hats, gloves and scarfs. Any type of household cleaning supplies are also welcomed. Park Elementary School is located right next to Brooklyn Park Library in Anne Arundel County.
