Team Green is all in for the Planet Earth! Get ready to get dirty for our environment. Every tree planted and piece of trash picked up means a cleaner, greener Central Maryland.

Irvine Nature Center

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Owings Mills, MD

Volunteers will be maintaining reforested areas, removing invasive species and picking up roadside trash.


Harford County Parks & Recreation

3:00 pm. - 6:00 p.m.
Forest Hill, MD

Volunteers will power wash and paint the pavilion, provide trail maintenance, and do playground clean up.


City of Refuge Baltimore

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
4:00 pm. - 7:00 p.m.
Baltimore, MD

Volunteers will mulch walking paths, plant fall plantings in raised beds, and complete hoop house (greenhouse) build.


Living Classrooms Foundation

3:00 pm. - 6:00 p.m.

Volunteers will participate in a community cleanup and potentially a storm drain stenciling project with our students in after-school programming. We would also like to have volunteers leading different fitness activities on the turf field.


Parks & People Foundation

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

This project will be at Windsor Hills Elementary School and includes invasive removal, mulching, weeding.

This project will be focused on the new Gateway Park in the Darley Park Neighborhood. There will be a need for trash pick-up, weeding planter beds, weeding storm water facilities, mulching, potentially moving playground and other equipment, cleaning chess tables.


Parks & People Foundation

1:00 pm. - 3:00 p.m.

Volunteers will work on maintenance of Ambrose Kennedy Park in the Johnston Square neighborhood. There will be some weeding of bioretention areas, trash pickup, pool and deck cleaning.


Chesapeake Bay Foundation - Clagett Farm

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Upper Marlboro, MD

Volunteers will be working in the vegetable and livestock operations at CBF's 285-acre regenerative farm, and also tending to trees and shrubs growing in our nursery.


Baltimore Tree Trust

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Baltimore, MD

For this project, volunteers will be planting out our tree pits (with trees already in them) with native plants. We will also be doing a trash pick-up and prune some of our trees.

Volunteers will be weeding, clearing out invasive species, perhaps planting, and harvesting.
