The Franciscan Center is a community resource dedicated to providing meals, clothing, and supportive services to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship in Baltimore. Our mission is to nourish both body and spirit while fostering dignity and hope.
We need volunteers to help us prepare for the holidays! Under the guidance of our amazing chefs, volunteers will assist with the building and prep of 500 breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for the city’s homeless shelters.
You’ll work alongside our staff and fellow volunteers in our newly renovated dining room space, making a real difference for those who need it most.

Please: We ask that you arrive promptly at 11:45am for a quick summary orientation. We start our assignment promptly at 12pm.
⭐Important: We do have lockers to secure your belongings, however you must bring your own lock, but it is recommended that you NOT bring personal items with you.
