Volunteers are able to spend quality time with our team members; the vast majority are here getting a “Second Chance” at learning skills that will enable them to live a productive life. Physical labor includes sorting/stacking doors and windows, preparing materials for pricing and merchandising, removing nails from our deconstruction inventory of wood (de-nailing/preparation for sale), etc.
Additional details:
- Ample parking
- Volunteers must complete waiver form in advance of volunteering
- Attire: The facility is not climate controlled. It will be warm or cold, depending on the time of year
- Long pants and close-toed shoes required
- Wear clothes that can get dirty
- Water stations are available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring water bottles
- All necessary safety equipment, gloves, safety glasses, etc. will be supplied
- Preference given to volunteers 18 years of age and older
